Hello again, blog world! Well it's only been about half a year since I posted last, so I guess you could say it's time! There have been lots of changes since last I updated this thing! Wow, don't even know where to begin. So....I'll save myself the trouble and just give you a summary.
We moved to Kansas City again this summer. Austin was selling again. We got here and realized we didn't want to go back to Idaho ever!!!!! And we would do whatever we could to stay here. We served our time in that iceburg and deserved to live somewhere else! I love KC! So happy to call it home.
We moved into our second apartment this summer and are now we're here to stay. We've moved 7 times since we've been married now so I'm reeeally looking forward to staying here for a while. It's so much bigger that what we're used to and it's feels so great to have space! We've been painting, getting furniture and packing away all our winter clothes in hopes that KC's winter will be heaven compared to Idaho.
Austin started school a few weeks ago at KU and is loving it.
Here are some pics of our summer and what we've been up to.

Austin's 24th birthday! That is a brownie cake...don't judge...we just barley moved in and everything was in boxes! |
|
Austin requested we get root beer floats for his birthday-in the frosted mugs from A&W--the way a root beer float should be! |
Haha, they are FROG aprons! I remember the frogs! Lol, that is awesome! Your apartment looks so nice! I am jealous! Oh, well, we've moved nine times so I am okay if it takes us longer to buy a house and we stay here for a while! Now that you guys are there in the spring we must visit! Tickets are pretty cheap so we can figure it out!
ReplyDeleteI love Kansas City! I am so glad you love it too. I want to get there to go to the art museum. We were there this summer and went to the NCAA Basketball museum and had a blast. And my dad went to KU. It is such a great school and beautiful campus.
